Member Teresi introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption:
RESOLUTION CANVASSING RETURNS
ON BOND QUESTION SUBMITTED
AT ANNUAL ELECTION
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley,
Minnesota, that the annual election held in and for said Village on December
8, 1959, has been in all respects duly conducted pursuant to notice thereof
duly posted, and the returns thereof have been canvassed by this Council
in accordance with law, and it is hereby found and determined that the votes
cast upon the bond question submitted to the electors at said election were
as follows:
Shall the Village of Golden Valley borrow money and issue
its negotiable coupon general obligation bonds in an amount
not exceeding $35,000, for the erection and equipment of an
addition to the Belt Line Fire Station?
Votes YES
Votes NO
Spoiled, Blank or defective Ballots

and said proposition, having received not less than a majority of the votes
cast thereon, is hereby declared to (have) (have not) carried.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
Member Flannagan, and on roll call, there were Four AYES and No NAYS, as
follows: Bies, Flannagan, Nadasdy, and Teresi; whereupon said resolution
was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor, and his
signature attested by the Clerk.
