#087 12-08-59 Approve Canvassing Returns Bond QuestionsResolution No. 87 December 8, 1959 Member Teresi introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION CANVASSING RETURNS ON BOND QUESTION SUBMITTED AT ANNUAL ELECTION BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, that the annual election held in and for said Village on December 8, 1959, has been in all respects duly conducted pursuant to notice thereof duly posted, and the returns thereof have been canvassed by this Council in accordance with law, and it is hereby found and determined that the votes cast upon the bond question submitted to the electors at said election were as follows: Shall the Village of Golden Valley borrow money and issue its negotiable coupon general obligation bonds in an amount not exceeding $35,000, for the erection and equipment of an addition to the Belt Line Fire Station? Votes YES Votes NO Spoiled, Blank or defective Ballots 807 411 000 Total Votes 1218 and said proposition, having received not less than a majority of the votes cast thereon, is hereby declared to (have) (have not) carried.
