#100 03-15-60 Provide Hearing Improvements Seal CoatingResolution No. 100 March 15, 1960 Member Bies introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS (Seal Coating - 1960) BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. In conformity with the provisions of Chapter 398, Session Laws of Minnesota, 1953, this Council proposes to construct certain public improvements within the Village as stated in the form of notice included in paragraph 4 hereof. 2. The Village Engineer has reported to the Council advising it in a pre- liminary way that the proposed public improvements are feasible and that they should best be made as proposed and not in connection with some other improve- ments, and has given his estimated costs of the improvements as follows: Total cost of improvements: $28,000.00 (The estimated cost of each separate improvement is as is set forth in the form of notice of public hearing set forth in paragraph 4 below.) 3. The Council shall meet at the time and place specified in the form of notice included in paragraph 4 hereof for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the proposed public improvements as described therein. 4. The Village Manager (Clerk) is authorized and directedto cause notice of the time, place and purpose of said meeting to be published for two successive weeks in the Suburban Press, the official newspaper of the Village, the first of such publications to be in the issue of said paper dated March 24, 1960, and the second of said publications to be in the issue of said paper dated March 31, 1960. All property within the Village which is benefitted by the improvement is proposed to be assessed for such improvement. All owners of such property abutting upon the streets described above are hereby notified to be present at said public hearing and to make known their objections to such proposed improvement, if any there be.
