Member Flannagan introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption:
RESOLUTION VACATING PART OF PLYMOUTH AVENUE
(Unger -Ness)
WHEREAS petitions of a majority of the owners of real property abutting
on the streets and portions of streets described below have been duly filed
with the Village Council and said Council has met at the time and place
specified in the notice duly published and posted, and has heard all interested
persons and it appears in the interest of the public that said streets and
portions of streets be vacated, Now Therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley
that the following -described streets and portions of streets as the same are
now d=dicated and laid out within the corporate limits of said Village be,
and hereby are, vacated:
A. That part of the Southwest Quarter (1) of the
Southeast Quarter (4) of Section 30, Township
118, Range 21, and that part of the Northwest
Quarter (n) of the Northeast Quarter (,i-,) of Section
31, Township 118, Range 21 lying South of the
South line of Block Five (5), Glenwood View, and
within the Southerly extension of the East and West -
lines thereof, and Northwesterly of a line 33 feet
Northerly of and parallel to the following described
line:
Commencing at a point on the North line of Section
31, Township 118, Range 21, a distance of 1901.26
feet West of the Northeast corner thereof; thence
Southwesterly on a tangential curve to the left,
with a radius of 716.20 feet, a distance of 321.25
feet; thence continuing Southwesterly, tangent to
the last described curve, a distance of 405.70 feet
to the West line of the Northeast Quarter (4) of
Section 31, Township 118, Range 21, and there ter-
minating.
B. That part of the Southwest Quarter (4) of the
Southeast Quarter (4) of Section 30, Township
118, Range 21 lying Southeasterly of the South-
easterly line of Lot Seven (7), Block Six (6),
Glenwood View, and West of the Southerly extension
of the East line of Lot Six (6), Block Six (6),
Glenwood View.
'C.That part of the Northwest Quarter (4) of the
Northeast Quarter (4) of Section 31, Township
118, Range 21, lying West of the Southerly exten-
sion of the East line of Lot Six (6), Block Six
(6), Glenwood View, Southerly of Lot One (1),
Busch's Meadow Acres, and Northwesterly of a
line 33 feet Northerly of and parallel to the
following described line:

The Village Manager (Clerk) is hereby instructed to cause a certified
copy of this Resolution to be filed among the Land Records of Hennepin County.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
Member Bies, and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following members voted
in favor thereof: Bies, Flannagan, Nadasdy, Scherer, and Teresi; and the
following voted against the same: None,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by
the Mayor, and his signature attested by the Clerk.
