Member Flannagan introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption:
RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR
MATERIALS FOR MISCELLANEOUS STREET AND OTHER IMPROVEMENTS
(Including 1960 Seal Coating)
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. It is hereby found, determined and declared that the lowest
responsible bidder for materials necessary for the construction of Miscel-
laneous Street and Other Improvements is as follows:

and that the bid(s) submitted by said bidder(s) listed above is (are) in
all respects in accordance with law and with the published advertisement
for bids, and with plans and specifications heretofore approved by the
Council and now on file and of record in the office of the Village Clerk; and
that the Village Engineer has recommended that said bid(s) be accepted, and
said bid(s) is (are) hereby accepted.
2. The Mayor and Village Manager (Clerk) are hereby authorized and
directed to make and execute (a) contract(s) on behalf of the Village in
accordance with the terms of said bid(s) when the bidder(s) shall have
furnished contractor's bonds in the amount of the bid(s), conditioned as re-
quired by law.
3. The Village Manager (Clerk) is hereby authorized and directed to
return forthwith all such cash deposits, bid bonds, certified checks or
cashier's checks furnished by other bidders, and to retain that (those)
furnished by said contractor(s) until the execution and filing of said con-
tract(s) and bond(s) in his office.
4. All other bids are rejected.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
Member Teresi and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Bies, Flannagan, Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the
Mayor, and his signature attested by the Village Manager (Clerk).
