Member Teresi introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption:
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING MUNICIPAL STATE AID STREETS
(Nos. 404, 405, 406 - 1960)
WHEREAS, It appears to the Village Council of the Village of Golden
Valley, that the streets hereinafter described should be designated as
"Municipal State Aid Streets" under the provisions of Minnesota Laws of 1957,
Chapter 943;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village Council of the Village of
Golden Valley, that the streets described as follows, to wit:
#404 Medicine Lake Road (0.5 mi.)
From the North One -Quarter (4) corner of Section
29, Township 118, Range 21, to Douglas Drive.
#405 Culver Road (0.5 mi.)
From Trunk Highway 100 to Noble Avenue.
#406 Laurel Avenue (1.0 mi.)
From Louisiana Avenue to Turner's Cross Road.
be, and hereby are designated as "Municipal State Aid Streets" of said Village,
subject to the approval of the Commissioner of Highways of the State of
Minnesota.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Village Manager (Clerk) is hereby
directed to forward two certified copies of this resolution to the Commissioner
of Highways for his consideration, and that upon his approval of the designation
of said streets, or portions thereof, such approved streets or portions thereof
shall become a part of the Municipal State Aid Street System of the Village of
Golden Valley, and that the same be constructed, improved, and maintained in
accordance with the rules and regulations of the Commissioner of Highways, and
the provisions of Minnesota Laws of 1957, Chapter 943.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
Member Flannagan and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in
favor thereof: Bies, Flannagan, Scherer, and Teresi; and the following voted
against the same: None,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the
Mayor and his signature attested by the Clerk.
