Member Teresi introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption:
RESOLUTION ORDERING DUST TREATMENT FOR CERTAIN STREETS
(60 -DA- 1-9)
60 -DA -1 St. Croix Circle.
60 -DA -2 Hampshire Lane - from Hampshire Avenue to Green Valley Road.
60 -DA -3 Natchez Avenue South between Wayzata and Douglas Avenue.
60 -DA -4 Lowry Terrace from Quail to Regent Avenue North, Regent from
Culver Road to 33rd Avenue North.
60 -DA -5 Hampshire from Olympia Street to Hampshire Place, Hampshire
Place from Hampshire Avenue to Douglas Avenue, Florida Avenue
North from Hampshire Place to Olympia Avenue.
60 -DA -6 6500 Knoll Street West to Hampshire Avenue, On Florida Avenue
from Plymouth Avenue to Olympia Street.
60 -DA -7 Corner of Harold and Ridgeway Road to corner of Winnetka Avenue
and Ridgeway Road.
60 -DA -8 Rhode Island Avenue North from T.H. #55 to 6th Avenue North.
60 -DA -9 Brunswick Avenue North from North side of St. Croix to a point
550 feet North of St. Croix Avenue.
Pursuant to the provisions of M.S.A. 429.101, 35 seq., and the pro-
visions of the Village Code, Section 127.01 et seq., IT IS HEREBY ORDERED AND
DIRECTED:
1. That the streets described above be improved by dust treatment,
including maintenance work incidental and necessary to such treatment. Such
work shall be done by direct purchase of the necessary materials, and the
employment of day labor.
2. That the Village Engineer shall keep a record of the cost of
such work done on each street, and shall report such information to the Village
Manager (Clerk).
3. That on or before September 1, 1960, the Village Manager (Clerk)
shall prepare an assessment roll, assessing all costs of such work reported
to him by the Village Engineer against each separate lot and parcel of land
benefited by such work, and shall present said roll to the Village Council.
All of such special assessments shall be payable in a single installment,
with interest thereon at the rate of six percent (6%) per annum.
4. That the Village Manager (Clerk) is hereby ordered and directed
to transmit forthwith, a copy of this resolution to the Village Engineer.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
Member Flannagan and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following members
voted in favor thereof: Bies, Flannagan, Scherer and Teresi; and the
following voted against the same: None;
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by
the Mayor and his signature attested by the Village Manager (Clerk).
