Member Flannagan introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption:
RESOLUTION ORDERING DUST TREATMENT FOR
CERTAIN STREETS
(60 -DA -15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 22, 23)
60 -DA -15 Harold Avenue
60 -DA -16 Sumter Avenue South from Wayzata Boulevard to Laurel Avenue
60 -DA -17 Regent Avenue North between 33rd and 34th Aves. No.
60 -DA -18 Phoenix Street from Douglas Drive to Florida
60 -DA -19 Unity Avenue from Thotland Road to North line of Thotland*s
Twin View Terrace 2nd Addition
60 -DA -20 Streets in Westchester Addition
60 -DA -22 Westbrook Road from Zane to Colorado; Colorado Avenue from
Westbrook Road to Wynnwood; Brunswick Avenue from Westbrook
Road (most southerly portion) to Wynnwood; Wynnwood from
Brunswick to Colorado.
60 -DA -23 Thotland Road from Toledo to Highway t#100 Service Road.
Pursuant to the provisions of M.S.A. 429.101, 35 Sec., and the
provisions of the Village Code, Section 172.01 et seq., IT IS HEREBY ORDERED
AND DIRECTED:
1. That the streets described above be improved by dust treatment, ,
including maintenance work incidental and necessary to such treatment. Such
work shall be done by direct purchase of the necessary materials, and the
employment of day labor.
2. That the Village Engineer shall keep a record of the cost of
such work done on each street, and shall report such information to the Village
Manager (Clerk).
3. That on or before September 1, 1960, the Village Manager (Clerk)
shall prepare an assessment roil, assessing all costs of such work reported
to him by the Village Engineer against each separate lot and parcel of land
benefited by such work, and shall present said roll to the Village Council.
All of such special assessments shall be payable in a single install-
ment, with interest thereon at the rate of six percent (6%) per annum.
4. That the Village Manager (Clerk) is hereby ordered and directed
to transmit forthwith, a copy of this resolution to the Village Engineer.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
Member Teresi and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following members voted
in favor thereof; Bies, Flannagan, Nadasdy, Scherer, and Teresi; and the
following voted against the same; None,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the
Mayor and his signature attested by the Village Manager (Clerk).
