#173 11-01-60 Issue Municipal State Aid Street Bonds26 R V Resolution No. 173 November 1, 1960 Member Teresi then introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE AND SALE OF $150,000 MUNICIPAL STATE -AID STREET BONDS OF 1960 BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, that the Village Council shall meet at the Civic Center in the Village on November 28, 1960, at 7:00 o'clock P. M., for the purpose of opening and considering sealed bids for, and awarding the sale of, $150,000 Municipal State -Aid Street Bonds of 1960 of the Village to be issued under Minnesota Laws of 1959, Chapter 500, for the purpose of providing money for locating, relocating, constructing, reconstructing and improving municipal state -aid streets in the Village. The Village Clerk and fiscal agents are hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of the sale of said bonds to be published in the Commercial West and in the official newspaper of the Village not less than 10 days prior to the date of sale of said bonds. The sale of said bonds shall be advertised together with the sale of the $679,000 Improvement Bonds of 1960 of the Village hereto- fore ordered, and sale shall be awarded for all or none of both issues. Said bonds shall be dated December 1, 1960, and shall mature serially on December 1 in the amount of $10,000 in each of the years 1961 through 1975, those bonds maturing in the years 1971 through 1975 being subject to redemption at the option of the Village, in inverse order of serial numbers, on December 1, 1970, and any interest payment date thereafter, at par and accrued interest. Interest on said bonds shall be payable on June 1, 1961, and semiannually thereafter on each December 1 and June 1. Mayor Attest: �^ y Village Manager and Clerk— i�/ The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Flannagan, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Bies, Flannagan, Scherer, and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and was signed and attested by the Mayor and Clerk. 1
