#009 02-21-61 Approve Valley Inn Liquor LicenseResolution No. 9 13 February 21, 1961 Member Teresi introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION (Valley Inn, Inc.,Liquor License) WHEREAS, the Village Manager has received an application for an on -sale intoxicating liquor license made on behalf of Valley Inn, Inc., for the premises known as the Holiday Motor Hotel located at 812 Lilac Drive North, within the Village, covering the period from July 1, 1961, to June 30, 1962, which applicatiion and supporting forms and data have been examined by the Village Attorney and the License Committee of the Village Council and found to be proper in form, and WHEREAS, a letter addressed to the Village Attorney, dated February 15, 1961, signed by B. B. Markham on behalf of Valley Inn, Inc., has been read and reviewed by the Village Council, and WHEREAS, the License Committee has recommended approval of said application of Valley Inn, Inc. and granting of said on -sale intoxicating liquor license, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley that said application be approved, and the proper officials of the Village are hereby instructed to sign and issue an on -sale intoxicating liquor license to Valley Inn, Inc., for the indicated period in accordance with said application and letter and the applicable laws of the State of Minnesota, and ordinances of the Village of Golden Valley, subject only to full disclosure and the receipt of nondetrimental character and business references and informa- tion concerning Seymour N. Logan, David S. Logan and Merwin S. Rosenberg, prospective transferees of all of the capital stock of Valley Inn, Inc. Mayor Attest: Village Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Flannagan, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following members voted in favor thereof: Bies, Flannagan, Nadasdy, Scherer and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor, and his signature attested by the Village Clerk.
