#029 05-16-61 Vacate Streets, Topel Roadf Resolution No. 29 May 16, 1961 Member Teresi introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION VACATING STREETS (Topel Road) WHEREAS, a petition of the owners of more than 51 percent of the real property fronting on the following -described street: The Southerly 10 feet of Topel Road from its inter- section with Trunk Highway No. 100 to its intersection with Unity Avenue in the Southwest Quarter (4) of the Southwest Quarter (4) of Section 18, Township 29, Range 24, Hennepin County, Minnesota, has been duly filed with the Village Council, and the Council has met at the time and place specified in a notice of public hearing on a petition to vacate said street, duly published, and has heard all interested persons, and it appears in the interest of the public that said portions of said street be vacated, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, that said portions of said street as the same is now dedicated and.laid out within the corporate limits of said Village be, and the same hereby is, vacated; and the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and instructed to file a copy of this resolution in the office of the Register of Deeds, or Registrar of Titles, as the case may be, in and for Hennepin County, Minnesota. Attest: Village Clerk Mayor The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Flannagan and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following members voted in favor thereof: Flannagan, Nadasdy, Scherer, and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor, and his signature attested by the Clerk.
