Member Flannagan introduced and read the following written resolution and
MOVED its adoption:
RESOLUTION
(Acceptance of Platting of
Cumberland Hills 2nd and 3rd Addition)
WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley,
pursuant to due notice, has on this date conducted a public hearing on the
proposed plats, to be known as Cumberland Hills 2nd Addition and Cumberland
Hills 3rd Addition, of the following -described tracts of land:
CUMBERLAND HILLS 2ND ADDITION
That part of the Northeast Quarter (4) of the Northeast
Quarter (4) of Section 18, Township 29, Range 24,
described as commencing at the Southeast corner of
said quarter -quarter; thence West along the South
line of said quarter -quarter, 374.96 feet; thence
Northwesterly deflecting to the right 47 degrees 50
minutes, a distance of 277.74 feet to the actual_ point
of beginning of the tract of land to be described;
thence Southeasterly along last -described course 277.74
feet to the South line of said quarter -quarter; thence
East along said South line 80.95 feet; thence North-
westerly deflecting to the left 132 degrees 10 minutes,
a distance of 509.34 feet; thence Northwesterly, Westerly
and Southwesterly along a tangential curve to the left,
with a radius of 395 feet, a distance of 730.86 feet;
thence Southerly on a compound curve to the left, with
a radius of 445.96 feet, a distance of 218 feet; thence
Southerly along a straight line, tangent to last -described
curve, a distance of 11.66 feet to a point in the South
line of said quarter -quarter, distant 93.9 feet East of
the Southwest corner thereof; thence East along the South
line of said quarter -quarter, 162.4 feet to the Southwest
corner of 'CUMBERLAND HILLS", according to the plat on
record in the office of the Register of Deeds, Hennepin
County, Minnesota, thence Northerly, Northeasterly, Easterly
and Southeasterly along the Westerly, Northwesterly,
Northerly and Northeasterly lines of said "CUMBERLAND HILLS"
to a point therein distant 29.92 feet Southeasterly of the
most -Easterly corner of Lot 2 in said "CUMBERLAND HILLS";
thence Northeasterly to the actual point of beginning.
CUMBERLAND HILLS 3RD ADDITION
That part of the Northeast Quarter (4) of the Northeast
Quarter (4) of Section 18, Township 29, Range 24,
described as follows: Commencing at the Southeast
corner of said Northeast Quarter (4) of the Northeast
Quarter (D- thence West along the South line of said
quarter -quarter 294.01 feet; thence Northwesterly de-
flecting to the right 47 degrees 50.minutes a distance

of 509.34 feet; thence Northwesterly on a tangential
curve to the left, with a radius of 335 feet, a distance
of 215 feet to the actual point of beginning of the
tract of land to be described; thence Southeasterly
along last -described curve 215 feet; thence Southeast-
erly along a straight line tangent to last -described
curve 155 feet; thence Northeasterly deflecting to the
left 76 degrees, a distance of 215 feet; thence North-
westerly deflecting to the left 98 degrees, a distance
of 190 feet; thence Easterly deflecting to the right
116 degrees, a distance of 95 ft.; thence Northwesterly
deflecting to the left 98 degrees a distance of 430
feet; thence Northerly to a point in the North line
of said quarter -quarter, distant 150 feet West of the
intersection of said North line and the Westerly right-
of-way line of the Great Northern Railroad; thence West
along the North line of said quarter -quarter, 365 feet;
thence Southerly deflecting to the left 93 degrees, a
distance of 410 feet; thence Southeasterly deflecting
to the left 16 degrees a distance of 315 feet; thence
Southwesterly to the actual point of beginning.
WHEREAS, all persons present were given the opportunity to be heard,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village
of Golden Valley that said proposed plats be, and the same hereby are, accepted
and approved, and the proper officers of the Village are hereby authorized
and instructed to sign the original and copy of said plats as you do all
other things necessary and proper in the premises.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
Member Teresi and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in
favor thereof: Flannagan, Nadasdy, Scherer, and Teresi;
and the following voted against the same: None,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the
Mayor and his signature attested by the Clerk.
