Member Flannagan introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption:
"RESOLUTION ORDERING DUST TREATMENT FOR CERTAIN STREETS"
(61 -DA- 1-9)
61 -DA -1 Tyrol Trail abutting Lots 5 & 6, Block 3 and Lot A, Tyrol Hills.
61 -DA -2 Olympia Street from Florida Avenue to Hampshire Avenue.
61 -DA -3 Olympia Street from Douglas Drive to Florida Avenue North.
61 -DA -4 Regent Avenue from 33rd Avenue North to 34th Avenue North.
61 -DA -5 Sumter Avenue South from Wayzata Boulevard to Laurel Avenue.
61 -DA -6 Sumter Avenue North from Olympia Street to Duluth Street;
Rhode Island Avenue North from Olympia Street to Duluth Street;
Quebec Avenue North from Olympia Street to Duluth Street;
Olympia Street from Winnetka Avenue North to Quebec Avenue North.
61 -DA -7 Gettysburg from Plymouth Avenue to Winsdale Street.
61 -DA -8 All of Edgewood Avenue South.
61 -DA -9 All of St. Croix Circle.
Pursuant to the provisions of M.S.A. 429.101, 35 seq., and the pro-
visions of the Village Code, Section 127.01 et seq., IT IS HEREBY ORDERED AND
DIRECTED:
1. That the Streets described above be improved by dust treatment,
including maintenance work incidental and necessary to such treatment. Such
work shall be done by direct purchase of the necessary materials, and the
employment of day labor.
2. That the Village Engineer shall keep a record of the cost of such
work done on each street, and shall report such information to the Village
Manager.
3. That on or before September 1, 1961, the Village Manager shall
prepare an assessment roll, assessing all costs of such work reported to
him by the Village Engineer against each separate lot and parcel of land
benefited by such work, and shall present said roll to the Village Council.
All of such special assessments shall be payable in a single installment,
with interest thereon at the rate of six percent (6%) per annum.
4. That the Village Manager is hereby ordered and directed to transmit
forthwith, a copy of this resolution to the Village Engineer.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by Member Teresi and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following members
voted in favor thereof: Flannagan, Nadasdy, Scherer, and Teresi;
and the following voted against the same; None,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by
the Mayor and his signature attested by the Village Clerk.
