#042 06-06-61 Approve Bids 61-LF-1 thru 13Resolution No. 42 M June 6, 1961 Member Teresi introduced the following resolution and'MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS (61 -LF -1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13; 61 -GG -1 and 3; 61 -CG -13 and 14; 61 -SS -5; 61-WM-4) WHEREAS, pursuant to resolutions passed by the Council on various dates, the Village Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for Improve- ment Projects No. 61 -LF -1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13; 61 -GG -1 and 3; 61 -CG -13 and 14; 61 -SS -5; and 61-WM-4, and has presented such plans and speci- fications to the Council for its approval, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, 1. That such plans and specifications be and the same hereby are approved. 2. That there shall be prepared and inserted in the Suburban Press and in the Construction Bulletin advertisements for bids for the making of such improvements under such approved plans and specifications. The advertise- ments shall be published once, not less than three weeks before the last day for the submission of bids, shall specify the work to be done, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Village Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond, money order, or certified check payable to the Village Clerk for five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid. In the case of improvements No. 61 -SS -5; 61 -CG -13 and 14; and 61 -GG -1 and 3, the advertisements shall state that bids will be opened at 11:00 o'clock A.M. on June 16, 1961, in the Council Chambers by the Village Engineer and the Village Manager, and tabulated, and will be considered by the Village Council at 8:00 o'clock P.M. on June 20, 1961, in the Council Chambers. In the case of improvements No. 61 -LF -1, 3, 59 6, 70 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13; and 61-WM-4, the advertisements shall state that bids will be opened at 11:00 o*clock A.M. on June 30, 1961, in the Council Chambers by the Village Engineer and Village Manager, and tabulated, and will be considered by the Village Council at 8:00 o'clock P.M. on July 5, 1961, in the Council Chambers.
