RESOLUTION ORDERING CONDEMNATION
(County, State Aid Highway No. 66)
WHEREAS, it is necessary, advisable, and in the public interest
that the Village of Golden Valley acquire certain parcels of land and easements
and temporary construction easements over, across and in certain lands for street
and road purposes, and
WHEREAS, in order to accomplish this purpose it is necessary to acquire
the lands, easements and temporary construction easements described below, namely:

NOTICE
To the Respondents hereinabove name:
You, and each of you, are hereby notified that on the day of
, 1961, at 9:30 o'clock a.m., or as soon thereafter as
counsel can be heard, at the Court House in Minneapolis, Hennepin County,
Minnesota, the above named petitioner will present to the above named Court,
at a special term thereof, a Petition now on file herein for the condemnation
of easements and slope easements in, on and across certain lands for street
and road purposes.
The objects of said petition are to take for use, easements and
slope easements in, on and across the lands described hereinafter for street
and road purposes, and further, to have the Court appoint Commissioners to
ascertain and report the amount of damages, if any, that will be sustained
by the several owners and persons interest on account of said taking.
The lands desired and proposed to be so taken, for easement and
slope easement purposes only, are situate in Hennepin County, Minnesota,
and are described as follows, and the names of all persons appearing of
record or known to your petitioner to be the owners of said lands or
interested therein, including all whom your petitioner has been able to
by investigation and inquiry discover, together with the nature of the
ownership of each as nearly as can be ascertained, are as follows:

WHEREAS, it has become and is necessary to procure said lands,
easements and temporary construction easements and title thereto by right of
eminent domain, and
WHEREAS, The Village of Golden Valley believes that the mist favor-
able location for such street and road and parts thereof and such easements
and temporary construction easements, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED that the Village of Golden Valley proceed to procure
said tracts and parcels of land, and easements and temporary construction ease-
ments and title thereto under its right of eminent domain, and that the Village
Attorney be instructed and directed to file the necessary petition therefor,
and to prosecute such action to a successful conclusion or until it is abandoned,
dismissed or terminated by the Village or by the Court; and that the Village
Attorney, the Mayor, and the Clerk, do all things necessary to be done in the
commencement, prosecution, and successful termination of such action.
