#047 06-20-61 Order Dust Treatment 61-DA-17 Thru 241 bm- Resolution No. 47 June 20, 1961 Member Flannagan introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: "RESOLUTION ORDERING DUST TREATMENT FOR CERTAIN STREETS" 61 -DA -17 Westbrook Rd. from Zane to Brunswick; Colorado Ave. and Westbrook Rd. from Brunswick to Wynwood Rd.; Brunswick from Wynwjnd Rd. to 22nd Ave. Ni.; Wynwood Rd. from Douglas Dr. to Zane Ave. 61 -DA -18 Laurel Avenue from Winnetka to Rhode Island Ave. 61 -DA -19 Ridgeway Rd. from Winnetka to Hanley Rd. Hanley Rd. from No. line of Hope Chest Addn, to Dead End. 61 -DA -20 Harold Ave. from Glenwood Ave. to Ridgeway Rd. 61 -DA -21 Hampshire Ave. from Hampshire Lane to Hampshire Place; Hampshire Place from Hampshire Lane to Douglas Drive. 61 -DA -22 Unity Avenue from Thn:tland Road to the North line of Thtland*s Twin View Terrace Addn. 61 -DA -23 All of Westchester Circle. 61 -DA -24 Sunnyridge Lane from Poplar Dr, to Woodstock Ave. Pursuant to the provisions of M.S.A. 429.101, 35 seq., and the provisions of the Village Code, Section 127.01. et seq., IT IS HEREBY ORDERED AND DIRECTED: 1. That the Streets described above be improved by dust treatment, including maintenance work incidental and necessary to such treatment. Such work shall be done by direct purchase of the necessary materials, and the employment of day labor. 2. That the Village Engineer shall keep a record of the cost of such work done on each street, and shall report such information to the Village Clerk. 3. That on or before September 1, 1961, the Village Clerk shall prepare an assessment roll, assessing all costs of such work reported to him by the Village Engineer against each separate lot and parcel of land benefited by such work, and shall present said roll to the Village Council. All of such special assessments shall be payable in a single installment, with interest thereon at the rate of six per cent (6`70) per annum. 4. That the Village Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to transmit forthwith, a copy of this resolution to the Village Engineer. 82 Resolution No. 47 (Continued) C=�. J Mayor Attest: Village Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Bies and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following members voted in favor thereof: Bies, Flannagan, Nadasdy, Scherer, and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Village Clerk.
