#070 09-05-61 Award Contract 61-WM-13 Thru 27Resolution No. 70 September 5, 1961 Member Bies introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT(S) FOR Projects No. 61 WM-13,14,18, 19,23,24,26,27 BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. It is hereby found, determined and declared, that the lowest responsible bidder(s) for work and materials necessary for the construction of Projects No. 61-WM-13, 14, 18, 19, 23, 249 26, 27 is (are) as follows: Name of Bidder Portion of Work Bid Base Amount On and Accepted of Bid Lametti and Sons All $231,291.51 and that the bid(s) submitted by said bidder(s) listed above is (are) in all respects in accordance with law and with the published advertisements for bids, and with plans and specifications heretofore approved by the Council and now on file and of record in the office of the Village Clerk; and that the Village Engineer has recommended that said bid(s) be accepted, and said bid(s) is (are) hereby accepted. 2. The Mayor and the Village Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to make and execute (a) contract(s) on behalf of the Village in accordance with the terms of said bid(s) when the bidder(s) shall have furnished contractor(I)s(l) bond(s) in the amount of the bid(s), conditioned as required by law. 3. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith all cash deposits, bid bonds, certified or cashier's checks, and money orders furnished by other bidders, and to retain that (those) furnished by said contrac- tor(t)s(t) until the execution and filing of said contract(s) and bond(s) in his office. 4. All other bids are rejected. ayor Attest: Village Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Scherer and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Bies, Flannagan, Nadasdy, Scherer, and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Clerk.
