#094 12-06-61 Approve Easements CSAH #66164 Resolution No. 94 December 6, 1961 Member Flannagan introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION (.Easements C.S.A.H. 1#66) WHEREAS, Hennepin County Project No. 6010, providing for the con- struction of County Road 66 across a new line from Douglas Drive to present County Road 66, requires the acquisition of easements, slope permits, and peat disposal permits from owners of adjacent property so as to permit construction as shown on the plans and specifications for such project, and WHEREAS, the -County has requested that the Village of Golden Valley obtain such easements, slope permits, and peat disposal permits, and assume responsibility for their sufficiency, and WHEREAS, easements, slope permits and peat disposal permits have been obtained on said properties by condemnation or by personnel of the Village of Golden Valley, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The Village of Golden Valley assumes responsibility for the acquisition of necessary right-of-way and slope permits, and peat disposal permits for the construction of the aforementioned project, in accordance with the plans and specifications for said project. 2. The Village of Golden Valley releases the County of Hennepin, its officers, agents, and employees, from any and all liavility or claims arising out of the construction of the slopes (and all work in connection therewith) on the aforesaid mentioned project in accordance with such plans and specifications. 3. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to provide the Hennepin County Highway Department with a certified copy of this resolution.
