#097 12-06-61 Establish Municipal State Aid Highways7 0 Resolution No. 97 December 6, 1961 Member Bies introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION (Establishing Municipal State Aid Highways) WHEREAS, it appears to the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley that the road hereinafter described should be designated a Municipal State Aid Street under the provisions of Minnesota Laws of 1959, Chapter 500: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley that the road described as follows, to -wit: LAUREL AVENUE - from Louisiana Avenue to Winnetka Avenue BOONE AVENUE - from Plymouth Avenue to Trunk Highway No. 55 be, and hereby is established, located, and designated a Municipal State Aid Street of said Village, subject to the approval of the Commissioner of Highways of the State of Minnesota. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to forward two certified copies of this resolution to the Commissioner of Highways for his consideration, and that upon his approval of the designation of said road or portion thereof, that same be con- structed, improved and maintained as a Municipal State Aid Street of the Village of Golden Valley, to be numbered and known as Municipal State Aid Street Adopted December 6, 1961. Attest: Village Clerk Mayor J The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Scherer and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Bies, Flannagan, Nadasdy, Scherer, and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor, and his signature attested by the Village Clerk. 1 1
