2. The Engineers for the Village have reported to the Council

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
(Water Main Trunks and Facilities for Water Supply and Storage,
Project No. 62 W.M.T.)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village Council of the Village

1962, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. at the Civic Center, 7800 Golden Valley Road
9Q°
Resolution No. 109 (Continued)
in said Village for the purpose of holding a public hearing on certain
proposed public improvements.
The Village Engineer estimates that the entire cost of the improve-
ments will be $2,583,300.00.
The areas where said improvements will be constructed and which
they will serve and the nature of the improvements are as follows:
A change in the public improvement consisting of the construction
and installation of water main trunks and facilities for water supply
and storage, land acquisition therefor and subsequent street replacement.
The change provides for the installation of water main trunks in the
following streets and areas:
The original water main alignment from the
reservoir site down France Avenue and Sunny -
ridge Lane to Olson Highway (Trunk Highway No. 55)
is herein proposed to be re -aligned through said
park along the east and south boundaries of the
Glenwood Hills Hospital site to Indiana Avenue
(extended) and thence south to Olson Highway along
the Indiana Avenue alignment.
Since this re -alignment eliminates the trunk main
originally located on Sunnyridge Lane between Olson
Highway (Trunk Highway No. 55) and the Minneapolis,
Northfield and Southern Railroad which has petition-
ed for lateral water main, it is further proposed
that a lateral main be added to this project to
serve this area.
In conducting said public hearing for making its decision on the
proposed improvements, the Village Council proposes to proceed under the
authority granted by Chapter 398, Minnesota Laws for 1953, as amended.
All property within the Village which is benefited by the improve-
ment is proposed to be assessed for such improvements as set forth in
the above description, including all property within the described areas
and/or abutting on streets described above and also including all rail-
road rights -of -moray located in or abutting on the above-described areas.
All owners of such property in the areas and abutting upon the
streets described above, are hereby notified to be present at said public
hearing and to make known their objections to such proposed public im-
provements, if any there be.
