Resolution No. 113 February 13, 1962
Member Teresi introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption:
RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR
CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
(Lateral Water Main Improvements
No. 62-ViM-4, 6, 7, 8, 10, 13, 16, 18, 19, 22, 23, 32,
331 35, 37 and 39)
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden
Valley, Minnesota, as follows:
1. It is hereby found, determined and declared, that the lowest
responsible bidder for work and materials necessary for the construction
of Projects No. 62-V4M-4, 6, 7, 8, 10, 13, 16, 18, 19, 22, 23, 32, 33, 35, 37
and 39 is as follows:

and that the bid submitted by said bidder listed above is in all respects
in accordance with law and with the published advertisements for bids, and
with plans and specifications heretofore approved by the Council and now
on file and of record in the office of the Village Clerk; and that the
Village Engineer has recommended that said bid be accepted, and said bid
is hereby accepted.
2. The Mayor and the Village Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to make and execute a contract on behalf of the Village in
accordance with the terms of said bid when the bidder shall have furnish-
ed a contractor's bond in the amount of the bid, conditioned as required
by law.
3. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return
forthwith all cash deposits, bid bonds, cerrif ied or cashier's checks
and money orders furnished by other bidders, and to retain that furnished
by said contractor until the execution and filing of said contract and
bond in his office.
4. All other bids are rejected.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by Member Flannagan and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Bies, Flannagan, Nadasdy, Scherer, and Teresi;
and the following voted against the same: None,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed
by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Village Clerk.
