RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION
(62 WM and 62.41MSR: Nos. 53-E, 54-E, 55-E, 56-E, 61-E,
62-E, 63-E, 64-E, 65-E, 66-E, 67-E, 68-E, 69-E, 70-E, 71-E,
72-E, 73 -E,74 -E, 75-E, 76-E, 77-E, 78-E, 79-E, 80-E, 81-E,

WHEREAS, it is necessary, advisable, and in the public interest that
the Village of Golden Valley acquire temporary construction easements for
water main and water facility purposes and perpetual easements for water
main and water facility purposes, in, on, over and across certain -
described tracts of land as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary, advisable and in the public interest that
the Village of Golden Valley acquire perpetual easements for street, -road,
and utility purposes in, on, over and across certain -described tracts of
land as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, in order to accomplish these purposes it is necessary to
acquire said temporary and perpetual easements over and across the
following -described lands for the purposes and to the extents set forth
in each case:

A temporary construction easement for water main and water facility
purposes, said temporary easement to expire on or before December 1,
1963, in, on, over and across the West 25 feet of that part of the
West 193 feet of the Northwest Quarter (4) of the Northwest Quarter (4),
Section 51 Township 117, Range 21, lying North of the South 270 feet
thereof and South of the center line of Ridgeway Road except Road, all
in Hennepin County, Minnesota.

wife, and John G. Wylie Fee
WHEREAS, it has become and is necessary to procure said temporary
and perpetual easements and title thereto by right of eminent domain;
and
WHEREAS, the Village of Golden Valley believes that the most -
favorable location for said temporary and perpetual easements is in,
on, over and across the lands described above, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED that the Village of Golden Valley proceed to
procure said temporary and perpetual easements and title thereto under
its fight of eminent domain, and that the Village Attorney be instructed
and directed to file the necessary petitions therefor and to prosecute
such action to a successful conclusion or until it is abandoned, dis-
missed or terminated by the Village or by the Court; and that the
Village Attorney, the Mayor, and the Village Clerk do all things
necessary to be done in the commencement, prosecution, and successful
termination of such action.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Member Flannagan and, upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: Bies, Flannagan, Scherer
and Teresi;
and the following voted against the same: None,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted,
signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Village Clerk.
