#135 05-01-62 Provide Hearing Improvement 62-MW-72293 Resolution No. 13,5 May 1, 1962 Member Flannagan introduced and read the following written resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON A CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT (62-WM-72) BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. In conformity with the provisions of Chapter 398, Session Laws of Minnesota, 1953, this Council proposes to construct a certain proposed public improvement within the Village as stated in the form of notice in- cluded in Paragraph 4 hereof. 2. The engineer for the Village has reported to the Council advising it in a preliminary way that the proposed public improvement is feasible and that it should best be made as proposed and not in connection with other improvement(s), and has given their estimated cost of the improvement as follows: Total cost of improvement: 3. The Council shall meet at the time and place specified in the form of notice included in paragraph 4 hereof for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the proposed public improvement as described therein. 44 The Clerk is authorized and directed to cause notice of the time, place and purpose of said meeting to be published for success- ive week(s) in The Suburban Press, the official newspaper of the Village, the first of said publications to be in the issue of said paper dated and the last of said publications to be in the paper dated ; such notice shall be in substantially the followingform: NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON A CERTAIN PROPObED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT (62-WM 72) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota, will meet on ,1962, at 8:00 o'clock p.m. at the Civic Center, 7800 Golden Valley Roa in said Village for the purpose of holding a public hearing on a certain proposed public improvement, consisting of the construction and installation of water main trunks and facilities for water supply and storage, land ac- quisitions therefor, and subsequent street repair and replacement. The engineer estimated that the cost of the improvement will be Resolution No. 135 (Continued) t -by 1, 1962 The streets or easements where or along which the water trunk mains included in said improvement will be placed are as follows: On Winnetka Avenue North to the 'Nest line of the Southeast Quarter (4) of the Northeast Quarter (4) of Section 31, Township 118, Range 21; and on Lewis Road in Becon Addition from its intersection with Tenth Avenue North to its intersection with Tenth Avenue North. All properties within the Village which abut on the above streets and easements where the water trunk mains will be placed and which are benefited by the improvement are proposed to be assessed for such im- provement; including all railroad property and railroad rights-of-way and public property located in or abutting on the above-described streets, lines and areas. Such properties will be assessed on account of the lateral water main benefit conferred by such improvement. All owners of such said public hearing and to public improvement, if any STANLEY D.
