#141 05-15-62 Order Improvemetn CSAH No. 66Resolution No. 1 May 15, 1962 Member Flannagan then introduced the following written resolution and MOVED its adoption.- RESOLUTION doption: RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF A CERTAIN PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT (C.S.A.H. NO. 66) BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as Follows: 1. That at a public hearing held on this day at 8:00 otclock p.m. at the address of 7800 Golden Valley Road, in the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, after notice of said hearing duly published as re- quired by law, this Council has consulted the views of all person interest- ed and, being fully advised of the pertinent facts, does hereby determine to proceed with the construction of a certain proposed public improvement contained in said notice. 2. It is hereby found and dterni.ned that said public improvement can best be constructed as proposed and not in connection with some other public improvement. This improvement, consisting of the construction of County State Aid Highway No. 66,will be undertaken jointly with Hennepin County. 3. The Villagets share of the cost of said improvement shall be paid out of special assessments to be levied as set forth in said notice of public hearing. 4. County Highway Engineer, in cooperation with the Village Engineer, has heretofore prepared plans and specifications for said improvement, and said plans and specifications are hereby approved and all actions under- taken in connection therewith are hereby ratified; and, specifically, the County Highway Engineer is approved as engineer for the construction of proposed public improvement, and all action of his in connection therewith, including advertising for bids and awarding of contracts, are hereby approved. mayor Attest: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Bies and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following members voted in favor thereof: Bies, Flannagan, Nadasdy, Scherer, and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Village Clerk.
