#144 05-15-62 Order Dust Treatment 62-DA-10 Thru 24JG6 Resolution No. 144 May 15, 1962 Member Bies introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: "RESOLUTION ORDERING DUST TRFATI4ENT FOR CERTAIN STREETS" (62 -DA -10, 17, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24) 62 -DA -10 Thotland Road from Toledo Ave. North to Lilac Drive. 62 -DA -17 Winsdale Street from Douglas Drive No. to Jersey Avenue North. 62 -DA -19 Idaho Ave. North from Golden Valley Road to Hampshire Ave. North. 62 -DA -20 Hampshire Avenue North from Olympia Street to Hampshire Place; Iiampshire Place from Hampshire Avenue North to Douglas Drive; Florida Avenue North from Olympia Street to Hampshire Place. 62 -DA -21 Hampshire Lane from Hampshire Avenue North to Green Valley Road. 62 -DA -22 Natchez Avenue South from T.H. #12 to Douglas Avenue. 62 -DA -23 Unity Avenue from Thotland Road to approx. 1300 Unity Avenue. 62 -DA -24 Lowery Terrace from Quail Ave. North to T.H. #100. Pursuant to the provision of M.S.A. 429.101 seq., and the provisions of the Village Code, Section 127.ol et seq., IT IS HEREBY ORDERED AND DIRECTED: 1. That the Streest described above be improved by dust treatment, including maintenance work incidental and necessary to such treatment. Such work shall be done by direct purchase of the necessary materials, and the employment of day labor. 2. That the Village Engineer shall keep a record of the cost of such work done on each street, and shall report such information to the Village Clerk. 3. That on or before September 1, 1962, the Village Clerk shall prepare an assessment roll, assessing all costs of such work reported to him by the Village Engineer against each separate lot and parcel of land benefited by such work, and shall present said roll to the Village Council. All of such special assessments shall be payable in a single install- ment, with interest thereon at the rate of six per cent (6%) per annum. 4. That the Village Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to transmit forthwith, a copy of this resolution to the' flag Engineer. Mayor r Attest: Village Clerk 1 1 1 1 1 1 Resolution No. Lot (Continued) May 15, 1962 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Flannagan and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following members,voted in favor thereof: Bies, Flannagan, Nadasdy, Scherer, and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was delcared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his sig- nature attested by the Village Clerk.
