RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING
ON CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
(62 -BS -4, 51 8, 10, 11, 12, 135 14, 15, 16, 20, 21, 23, 23;
62 -CG -1 thru 5; 62 -CP -1 , 2, 3, 4)
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. In conformity with the provisions of Chapter 398, Session Laws
of M nnesota, 1953, this Council proposes to construct certain proposed
public improvements wthin:the Village as stated in the form of notice
included in Paragraph 4 hereof.
2. The Engineer for. the Village has reported to the Council advis-
ing it in a preliminary way that the proposed public improvements are
fessible and that they should best be made as proposed and not in connect-
ion with some other improvements, and has given his estimated cost of
the improvements as follows:
Total cost of improvements: 6,424,609.18
3. The Council shall meet at the time and place specified in the
form of notice included in Paragraph 4 hereof for the purpose of holding
a public hearing on the proposed public improvements as described there-
in.
4. The Clerk is authorized and directed to cause notice of the time,
place and purpose of said meeting to be published for two successive
weeks in the Suburban Press, the official newspaper of the Village, the
first of such publications to be in the issue of said paper dated ,
1962, and the second of said publications to be in the issue of said
paper dated , 1962. Such notice shall be in sub-
stantially the following form.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village Council of the Village of Golden
Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota, will meet on June 19, 1962, at 8:00
otclock p.m. at the Civic Center, 7800 Golden Valley Road in said Village
for the purpose of holding a public hearing on proposed street improve-
ments.

In conducting said public hearing for making its decision on the proposed
improvements,ihe Village Council proposes to proceed under the authority
granted by Chapter 398, Mnnesota Laws for 1953, as amended.
All property within the Village which is benefitted by the improvements
is proposed to be assessed for such improvements as set forth in the
above descriptions, including all property within the described areas
and/ or abutting on streets described above and also including all rail-

road property and/ or railroad rights-of-way located in or abutting on
the above described areas.
All owners of such property in the areas and abutting upon the streets
described above, are hereby notified to be present at said public hearing
and to make known their objections to these proposed street improvements
if any there be.

by Member Scherer and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted

the Mayor and his signature attested by the Clerk.
