Member Flannagan introduced and read the following written resolution and
MOVED its adoption:
RESOLUTION APPRCVIM PIANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
(62-CP-Ij 2, and 4)
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council pertaining
thereto, the Village Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for
Projects 62 -CG -5, and has presented such plans and specifications to the
Council for their approval; and Robert Minder, consulting engineer, has
prepared plans and specifications for Projects 62 -CP -1, 2, and 4. and has
presented such plans and specifications to the Council for their approval;
Now., Therefore,
BE 1T RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden
Valley :
1. That such plans and specifications are in each case hereby ap-
proved.
2. That the Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted
in the Suburban Press an advertisement for bids upon making of such
improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertise-
ment shall be published once in the Suburban Press, shall specify the
work to be done, shall state that bids will be opened by the Village
Engineer at 11:00 otclock A.M. on August 3, 1962, in the Council Chambers
and will be considered by the Council at its regular meeting to be held
at the Civic Center on August 7, 1962, and that no bids will be consider-
ed unless sealed and filed with the Village Clerk and accompanied by a
cash deposit, money order, cashierls check, bid bond or certified check
payable to the Village Clerk for five percent (5%) of the amount of such
bid.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by
Member Scherer and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
infaver thereof: Bies, Flannagan, Nadasdy, Scherer,, and Teresi;
and the following voted against the same: None,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed
by the Mayor, and his signature attested by the Village Clerk.
