#162 07-10-62 Order Dust Treatmnet 62-DA-37,30,41.47Resolution No. 162 July 10, 1962 Member Scherer introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: "RESOLUTION ORDERING DUST TREATMENT FOR CERTAIN STREETS" (62 -DA -37, 3o 41, 47) 62 -DA -37 Olympia Street from Florida Avenue to Jersey Avenue. 62 -DA -39 Winsdale from Winnetka Avenue to Rhode Island Avenue North; Sumter Avenue North from Winsdale Street to Knoll Street. 62 -la -41 Scott Avenue North from 33rd Ave. North to T. H. #100; 33rd Avenue North .from Scott Avenue North to Scott Avenue North. 62 -DA -47 Quail Avenue from 33rd Avenue North to Lowry Terrace. Pursuant to the provision of M.S/A.: 429.101 seq., and the provisions of the Village Code, Section 127.01 et seq., IT IS HEREBY ORDERED AND DIRECTED: 1. That the streets described above be improved by dust treatment, including maintenance work incidental and necessary to such treatment. Such work shall be done by direct purchase of the necessary materials, and the employment of day labor. 2. That the Village Engineer shall keep a record of the cost of such work done on each street, and shall report such information to the Village Clerk. 3. That on or before September 1, 1962, the Village Clerk shall pre- pare an assessment roll, assessing all costs of such work reported to him bythe Village Engineer against each separate lot and parcel of land ben- efited by such work, and shall present said roll to the Village Council. All of such special assessments shall be payable in a single install- ment, with interest thereon at the rate of six per cent (6%) per annum. 4. That the Village Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to transmit forthwith, a copy of this resolution to the Village Engineer. Attest: Village Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Teresi and, upon vete being taken thereon, the following members voted in favor thereof: Flannagan, Scherer and Teresi; and the following voted against the same None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Village Clerk.
