#178 08-21-62 Approve Day Labor 62-BS-22,24,28, 62-CG-9Resolution No. 178 August 21, 1962 Member Flannagan introduced the following resolution and MDVED its adoption: RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING WORK DONE BY DAY LABOR (62 -BS -22, 24, 28; 62 -CG -9) WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Village Council this day, the Village Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for 62 -BS - 22, 24, 28; 62 -CG -9, and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval; AND WHEREAS, the work to be done involves gravelling, grading and bituminous surfacing including bituminous curb and gutter as a part of such bituminous surfacing, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley as follows: 1. Such plans and specifications are hereby approved. 2. The Village Engineer shall proceed under the direction of the Village Council as given from time to time, to carry on all work in con- nection with said improvements in accordance with the plans and spec- ifications herein approved. 3. It is hereby found and determined that the Village of Golden Valley has sufficient equipment to carry on the work necessary for said improvement. It is hereby directed that said equipment be used for said work and that the appropriate funds shall be charged for the use of said equipment, the reasonable rental value thereof as of the cost of said work and the Village Engineer shall keep an accurate record and account of the use and rental of said equipment and of materials used and of work done and shall include it on any and all reports on the cost of work done by day labor under the provisions of this resolution. kV or Attest: Qi lage Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Scherer and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Flannagan, Nadasdy, Scherer, and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adapted, signed try the Mayor and his signature attested by the Village Clerk.
