#188 09-18-62 Order Improvements 62-WM-99; 62-BS-29Q P:_ 6 �.. bs Resolution No. 188 September 18, 1962 Member Teresi then introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS (62=�Z4199; 62 -BS -29) BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. That at a public hearing held on this day at 7:30 o'clock p.m. at the address of 7800 Golden Valley Road in the Village of Golden Valley, Mnnesota, after notice of said hearing duly published as required by law, this Council has consulted'the views of all persons interested and, being fully advised of the pertinent facts, does hereby determine to proceed with the construction of certain proposed public improvements for said Village, in accordance with the description of said improvements contained in said notice, as follows: IMPROVEMENT ## TYPE LOCATION ESTIMATED COST 62 -BS -29 Bituminous Surfacing Westwood Lane $1173.07 62-WM-99 Watermain Ridgeway Road from $17,707.78 Western Ave. to Winnetka Ave. In conducting said hearing for making its decision on the proposed im- provements, the Village Council proposes to proceed under the authority granted by Chapter 398, Minnesota laws for 1953, as amended. All property within the Village which is benefited by the improvement is proposed to be assessed for such improvements as set forth in the above description, including all property abutting on the streets described above. All owners of such property are hereby notified to be present at said public hearing and to make known their objections to such proposed public improvements, if any there be. It is hereby found and determined that said public improvements are feasible and can best be constructed as set forth in said report and 1 1 i Resolution No. 188 (Continued) September 18, 1962 not in connection with some other improvement (the Council reserves the right to consolidate wai:d improvements with other public improvements at a later date if it seems advisable to do so). 3. The cost of said improvements shall be paid,' -.in part out of special assessments to be levied as set forth in said notice of public hearing. 4. The Village Engineer is hereby designated as engineer for the con- struction of said proposed public improvements, and is hereby authorized, ordered and instructed to prepare final plans and specifications for said improvem?nts and submit the same to the Village Council for approval at the earliest possible date. Attest: The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Flannagan and, upnn vote being taken thereon, the following members voted in favor thereof: Bies, Flannagan, Scherer, and Teresi; and the fol- lowing voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor, and his signature attested by the Clerk. 399
