#191 09-18-62 Award Improvements 62-WM-1 Thru 99Resolution No. 191 September 18, 1962 Member Flannagan then introduced and read the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS (62-IIM-1, 24, 29, 31, 42, 43, 46, 48, 49, 50) 52, 53, 55, 56, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 65, 66, 67, 69-81, 84, 85, 87-94 and 98,99) BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. It is hereby found, determined and declared, that the lowest responsible bidder for work and materials necessary for the construction of Improvements No. 62 -IAM -1, 24, 29, 31, 42, 43, 46, 48, 49, 50, 52, 53, 55, 56, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 65, 66, 67, 69-81, 84, 85, 87-94, 98, and 99, is as f ollows: Portion of Work Bid Base Name of Bidder On and Accepted Amount of Bid Petrowske & Ross All $590,283.75 and that the bid submitted by said bidder listed above is in all respects in accordance with law and with the published advertiesments for bids, and with plans and specifications heretofore approved by the Council and now on file and of record in the office ofthe Village Clerk; and that the Engi- neers for the Village have recommended that said bid be accepted, and said bid is hereby accepted. 2. The Mayor and the Village Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to make and execute a contract on behalf of the Village in accordance with the terms of said bid when the bidder shall have furnished a contractor's bond in the amount of the bid, conditioned as required by law. 3. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forth- with all cash deposits, bid bonds, certified or cashier's checks and money orders furnished by other bidders and to retain that furnished by said con- tractor until the execution and filing of said contract and bond in his office. 4. All other bids are rejected. yo Attest: Village Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Teresi and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Bies, Flannagan, Scherer, and Teresi, and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Village Clerk. 1
