Member Teresi introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption:
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
(62 -SS -2).
WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has prepared plans and specifications
for sanitary sewer construction (62 -SS -2) and has presented such plans and
specifications to the Council for their approval; Now, Therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley,
1. That such plans and specifications are hereby approved.
2. That the Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in
the Suburban Press and advertisement for bids for making of such improve-
ment under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall
be published once in the Suburban Press, shall specify the work to be done,
shall state that bids will be opened and considered by the Village Manager,
Clerk, and Engineer at 11:00 o'clock A.M. on September 28, 1962, in the
Council Chambers and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed
with the Village Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, money order, cash-
ier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the Village Clerk for
five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid. Said bids will be considered
by the Village Council at its meeting of October 2, 1962, at 7:30 o1clock
P.M. in the Council Chambers in the Civic Center.

The -motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by Member Scherer and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: Bies, Flannagan, Scherer, and Teresi; and the following
voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly
passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the
Village Clerk.
