#199 10-02-62 Accept Tax LevyResolution No. 199 October 2, 1962 Member Flannagan then introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: "RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BUDGET FOR 1963 AND ESTABLISHING THE VILLAGE PROPERTY TAX LEVY FOR 1962" WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of M.S.A. 412.701 and 112.711, the Village Manager has prepared the estimates for the annual budget for 1963 and has presented such estimates to the Council for their approval; Now, Therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. That such estimates be approved and adopted as the budget for 1963. 2. That the Village Manager is authorized and directed to enforce all provisions of said budget. 3. That the Village Clerk is authorized and directed to advise the County Auditor that the Village of Golden Valley requests the Auditor to raise the sum of $3969729.00 through real and personal property taxes collectible in 1963, plus the sum of one-fourth mill for Poor Relief and the sum of one-third mill for the Fire Department Relief Association and to further advise the Auditor that the above sum in- cludes the necessary levies for Hennepin County Parks and for Public Employees Retirement Association, and $63,842.00 for Watermain Construction. 1 Mayor Attest: The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Scherer and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following members voted in favor thereof: Bies, Flannagan, Nadasdy, Scherer, and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Village Clerk. 1
