#205 10-16-62 Order Improvement 62-WM-564210 Resolution No. 205 October 16, 1962 Member Flannagan then introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS) (62,WM-56 ) BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. That at a public hearing held on this day at 7:30 o'clock P.M. at the address of 7800 Golden Valley Road in the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, after notice of said hearing duly published as required by law, this Council has consulted the views of all persons interested and, being fully advised of the pertinent facts, does hereby determine to proceed with the construction of (a) certain proposed public improvement(s) for said Village, in accordance with the description of said improvements contained in said notice, as follows: NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS LATERAL WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT (62-WM-56) NOTICE I S HEREBY GIVEN.that the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota, will meet on October 16, 1962 at 7:30 o'clock P.M. at the Civic Center, 7800 Golden Valley Road in said Village for the purpose of holding a public hearing on certain proposed public improvements, consisting of the construction and installation of Lateral Water Main Improvement and subsequent street repair and replace- ment. The Engineer estimates that the cost of the improvement will be $9094.52. The Area where said improvement will be constructed and which it will serve are as follows: All lots, tracts, or parcels of land abutting on the following des- cribed street: 62-WM-56: On Zane Ave. No., from Westbrook Road to the North Village Limits. In conducting said public hearing for making its decision on the pro- posed improvements, the Village Council proposes to proceed under the authority granted by Chapter 398, Minnesota Laws for 1953, as amended. All property within the Village which is benefited by the improvements is proposed to be assessed for such improvements as set forth in the above description, including all property within the described area and/or abut- ting on the street described above and also including all railroad property 1 L � I 421 Resolution No. 205 (continued) October 16, 1962 and/or railroad rights-of-way located in or abutting on the above described area. All owners of such property in the area and abutting upon the street described above, are hereby notified to be present at said public hearing and to make known their objections to this proposed public improvement, if any there be. It is hereby found and determined that said public improvement(s) are (is) feasible and can best be constructed as set forth in said report and not in connection with some other improvement (the Council reserves the right to consolidate said improvement(s) with other public improvements if it seems advisable to do so.). 3. The cost of said improvement(s) shall be paid in part out of special assessments to be levied as set forth in said notice of public hearing. 4. The Village Engineer is struction of said proposed public ordered and instructed to prepare improvement(s) and submit the s the earliest possible date.
