#216 02-05-63 Destroy Certain Village Records1 1 Resolution No. 216 February 5, 1963 Member Flannagan introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION TO DESTROY CERTAIN VILLAGE RECORDS BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows.- 1. ollows. 1. That the Village Clerk and the Village Treasurer, as the case may be, be and hereby are authorized, in accordance with the provisions of M.S.A. 412.841, to destroy certain Village records more than ten (10) years old as follows: Classes of Records to be Destroyed Verified Accounts Dog License Receipts Licenses Receipts Four Marriage Licenses Cancelled Checks Ranges of Dates of the Records 1933 through 1952 1945 11 1952 1937 " 1952 (3) 194o « (1)1943 X948 if 1952 2. The Clerk shall forthwith send to the Minnesota State Historical Society a copy of this resolution. If no petition or application re- questing said records under Minnesota Statutes, 1949, Section 138.04, is received by the Village within Thirty (30) days after mailing of this resolution to the Society, the records shall be destroyed by the Clerk or Treasurer as the case may be. Attest: 1 age Clerk The motion for the adoption of foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Teresi, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Flannagan, Nadasdy, Schaphorst, Scherer, and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor, and his signature attested by the Clerk. 7
