#221 02-19-63 Order Public Improvements (63 WMT)15 Resolution No; 221 February 19, 1963 Member Teresi introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption; RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS 63-w.M.T . ) BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. That at a public hearing held on this day at 7:30 O'clock P.M.i at the address of 7800 Golden Valley Road in the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, after notice of said hearing duly published as required by law, this Council has consulted the views of all persons interested and, being fully advised of the pertinent facts, does hereby determine to proceed with the construction of certain proposed public improvements for said Village, in accordance with the description of said improvements contained in said notice, as follows: NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS Water Main Improvements No. 63 W.M.T. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota, will meet on February 19, 1963, at 7:30 o'clock p.m., at the Civic Center, 7800 Golden Valley Road, in said Village, for the purpose of holding a public hearing on certain proposed public improve- ments, consisting of the construction and installation of Trunk Water Main Improvements (including Trunk Mains to be used as Laterals) and subsequent street repair and replacement. The Engineer estimates that the cost of the improvements will be $786,000.00. The area where said improvements will be constructed and which they will serve are as follows: All lots, tracts or parcels of land abutting on the following - described streets and -or legally described lines: On Olympia Street, from Louisiana Avenue, to Douglas Drive. On Douglas Drive, from Olympia Street, to Medicine Lake Road. On Wynwood Road, from Douglas Drive, to Brunswick Avenue. On Brunswick Avenue, from Wynwood Road, to Westbrook Road. On Westbrook Road, from Brunswick Avenue, To Zane Avenue North. On St. Croix Avenue, from Douglas Drive, to Gplden Valley Road... On Golden Valley Road, from St. Croix Avenue, to Glenwood Camden Parkway. On North Side of Glenwood -Camden Pkwy., from Golden Valley Road to Zenith Avenue. On 26th Avenue North (rIctended), from East R -O -W Line of Great Northern RR, to Dresden Lane. On Dresden Lane, from 26th Avenue North (Extended), to Bassett Creek Drive. On Bassett Creek Drive, from Dresden Lane, to Kyle Avenue. On Legend Drive, from Golden Valley Road, to Bassett Creek Drive. On Kyle Avenue, from Bassett Creek Drive to Adell Avenue. On Adell Avenue, from Kyle Avenue to Noble Avenue. On Noble Avenue, from Adell Avenue, to 33rd Avenue North. i Valley Road in said Village for the purpose of holding a public hearing on certain proposed public improvements, consisting of the I Village Clerk 1.6 Resolution No. 221 (Continued) On 33rd Avenue North, from Noble Avenue, to Regent Avenue. On Regent Avenue, from 33rd Avenue North, to Culver Road. On Culver: Road, from Kyle Avenue to State Hwy. No. 100. On East Side of State Hwy. No. 100, from Culver Road to Kentley Avenue (Extended). On Kyle Avenue, from Adell Avenue, to 34th Avenue North. In conducting said public hearing for making its decision on the pro- posed improvements, the Village Council proposes to proceed under the author- ity granted by Chapter 398, Minnesota Laws for 1953, as amended. All property within the Village which is benefited by the improvements is proposed to be assessed for such improvements as set forth in the above descriptions, including all property within the described areas and -or abutting on streets or lines described above and including all railroad property and railroad rights-of-way and public property located in or abutting on the above described streets, lines and areas. All owners of such property in the areas and abutting upon the streets or lines described above, are hereby notified to be present at said public hearing and to make known their objections to such proposed public improve- ments, if any there be.
