#235 04-16-63 Order Public Improvements 63-WML-5542 Resolution No. 235 April 16, 1963 Member Flannagan introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION, APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND RATIFYING INCLUSION IN ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS OF CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS (63-WML-55, 63, 64, 68) BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. That at a public hearing held on this day at 8:00 o'clock p.m. at the address of 7800 Golden Valley Road in the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, after notice of said hearing duly published as required by law, this Council has consulted the views of all persons interested, and, being fully advised of the pertinent facts, does here- by determine to proceed with the construction of certain proposed public improvements for said Village, in accordance with the descript- ion of said improvements contained in said notice, except as follows-. 63-WM-64: On Bassettfs Creek Drive from Dresden Lane to Mary Hills Dive. 2. It is hereby found and determined that said public improvements are feasible and can best be constructed as set forth in said report; provided, however, that the Council further finds that said improvements can best be constructed in connection with other lateral water main im- provements to be constructed by the Village Council. 3. The cost of said improvements shall be paid in part out of special assessments to be levied as set forth in said notice of public hearing. 4. The Village Engineer is hereby designated as engineer for the col struction of said proposed public improvements, and final plans and specifications prepared by him are hereby approved. The inclusion of said public improvements in the Advertisement for Bids for other Lateral Water Main Improvements to be constructed in 1963, and whose construction has heretofore been ordered by the Village Council and bids for which are to be considered at this meeting of the Village Council, are hereby ratified and approved.
