Member Teresi introduced and read the following resolution and MOVED
its adoption:
RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR
CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
(63 -WMT and 63-WML)
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden
Valley, Minnesota, as follows:
1. It is hereby found, determined and declared, that the lowest
responsible bidder for work and materials necessary for the construction
of Improvements No. 63 -WMT and 63 WML is as follows:

Mame of Bidder Bid on and Accepted of Bid
McDonald-Luben & Associates, Inc. All $555,718.00
and that the bid submitted by said bidder listed above is in all respects
in accordance with law and with the published advertisements for bids,
and with plans and specifications heretofore approved by the Council and
now on file and of record in the office of the Village Clerk; and that
the Engineers for the Village have recommended that said bid be accepted,
and said bid is hereby accepted.
2. The Mayor and the Village Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
to make and execute a contract on hehalf of the Village in accordance
with the terms of said bid when the bidder shall have furnished a contract-
ors bond in the amount of the bid, conditioned as required by law.
3. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return
forthwith all cash deposits, bid bonds, certified or cashierfs check
and money orders furnished by other bidders to retain that furnished
by said contractor until the execution and filing of said contract and
bond in his office.
4. All other bids are rejected.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by Member Scherer and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: Flannagan, Nadasdy, Schaphorst, Scherer, and Teresi;
and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution
was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature
attested by the Village Clerk.
