#246 05-07-62 Provide Public Hearing Pubilc Improvements61 Resolution No. 246 May 7, 1963 Member Scherer introduced and read the following written resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS (63 -LF -1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11) BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. In conformity with the provisions of Chapter 398, Session Laws of Minnesota, 1953, this Council proposes to construct certain Lateral Sewer Improvements (63 -LF -1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12) with- in the Village as stated in the form of notice included in Paragraph 4 h ere of . 2. The Village Engineer, the engineer designated for the project, has reported to the Council advising it in a preliminary way that the proposed improvements are feasible and should best be made as proposed and in connection with such other improvements as may be and constitute part of 63 -LF, and be ordered for construction in 1963, and has given its estimated cost of the improvements hereinafter described as follows: Total cost of improvements: $124,526.72 3. The Council shall meet at the time and place specified in the form of notice included in Paragraph 4 hereof for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the proposed improvements as described therein. 4. The Village Clerk is authorized and directed to cause notice of the time, place and purpose of said meeting to be published for two successive weeks in the Suburban Press, the official newspaper of the Village, the first of such publications to be in the issue of said paper dated May 23, 1963, and the second of said publications to be in the issue of said paper dated May 30, 1963. Such notice shall be in sub- stantially the following form: NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS (63 -LF -1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota, will meet on June 4, 1963, at a:00 o'clock p.m. at the Civic Center, 7800 Golden Valley load in said Village for the purpose of holding a public hearing on certain proposed Lateral Sanitary Sewer Improvements. The Village Engineer estimates that the entire cost of the improvements will be: $124,526.72 62? All property within the Village which is benefited by the improve- ments.is proposed to be assessed for such improvements as set forth in the above,description, including all property within the described areas and/or abutting on streets described above and also including all rail- road property and/or railroad rights-of-way located in or abutting on the above described areas. All owners of such property in the areas and abutting upon the streets described above, are hereby notified to be present at said public hearing and to make known their objections to these proposed street improvements if any there be.
