Member Flannagan introduced the following written resolution and MOVED
its adoption:
RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION
OF CERTAIN PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
(63 -BS -7, 22)
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden
Valley, Ydnnesota, as follows:
1. It is hereby found and determined that there have been received
from all of the affected property owners, waivers of public hearing and
notice of public hearing and petitions for the construction of certain
public improvements (63 -BS -7, 22), and that it is, therefore, unnecessary
to publish a notice of public hearing in connection with said improvements
of to conduct a public hearing concerning the same, and that the Council
being fully advised of the pertinent facts does hereby determine to pro-
ceed with the construction of certain public improvements whose costs
are $9,997.53
2. It is hereby found and determined that said public improvements
can best be constructed as proposed and not in connection with some
other public improvements.
3. The cost of said improvements shall be paid out of special
assessments to be levied in the manner provided by law.
4. The Village Engineer is hereby designated as engineer for the
construction of said proposed public improvement, and he hereby is
authorized, ordered and instructed to prepare final plans and specifi-
cations for said improvements and to submit the same to the Village
Council for approval at the earliest possible date.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by Member Scherer and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following members
voted in favor thereof: Flannagan, Nadasdy, Schaphorst, Scherer, and
Teresi; and the following voted against the same-. None, whereupon said
resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and
his signature attested by the Village Clerk.
