#251 05-21-62 Order Dust Treatment for Certain Streetss• Resolution No. 251 May 21, 1963 Member Scherer introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION ORDERING DUST TREATMENT RE CERTAIN STREETS (63 -DA -8, 14, 15, 16, 19) 63 -DA -8: Regent Avenue North from Culver Road to Lowry Terrace 63 -DA -14: Independence Avenue North from Plymouth Avenue to Winsdale Street. 63 -DA -15: Sandburg Road from Douglas Drive to Sandburg Lane 63 -DA -16: Hampshire Lane from Hampshire Avenue to Green Valley Road 63 -DA -19: Ellis Lane from Glenwood Avenue South'to the Cul -de -Sac Pursuant to the provision of M.S.A. 429.101 seq. and the provisions of the Village Code, Section 127.01 et seq., IT IS HEREBY ORDERED AND DIRECTED: 1. That the streets described above be improved by dust treatment, including maintenance work incidental and necessary to such treatment. Such work shall be done by direct purchase of the necessary materials, and the employment of day labor. 2. That the Village Engineer shall keep a record of the cost of such work done on each street, and shall report such information to the Village Clerk. 3. That on or before September 1, 1963, the Village Clerk shall prepare an assessment roll, assessing all cost of such work reported to him by the Village Engineer against each separate lot and parcel of land benefited by such work, and shall present said roll to the Village Council. All of such special assessments ahall be payable in a single in- stallment, with interest thereon at the,rate of six per cent (6%) per annum. 4. That the Village Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to transa±t forthwith a copy of this resolution to the Village Engineer.
