#270 07-02-63 Order Construction Public Improvements Concrete Curb and GutterResolution No. 270 July 2, 1963 Member Scherer then introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMOVE111ENTS (Concrete Curb and Gutter 63 -CG -12 and 13) BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Mfinnesota, as follows: 1. That a public hearing held on this day at 8:00 o'clock p.m. at the address of 7800 Golden Valley Road in the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, after notice of said hearing duly published as required by law, this Council has consulted the view of all persons interested and, being fully advised of the pertinent facts, does hereby determine to proceed with the construction of certain proposed improvements for said Village, in accordance with the description of said improvements contained in said notice, except as follows: 63 -CG -12, Rhode Island and Sumter. 2. That said public hearing as to 63 -CG -12 (Sumter) be hereby continued to the next regular meeting of July 16, 1963. 3. It is hereby found and determined that said public improvements are feasible and can best be constructed as set forth in said report and not in connection with some other improvement (the Council reserves the right to consolidate said improvements with other public improvements if it seems advisable to do so.) 4. The cost of said improvements shall be paid out of special assess- ments to be levied as set forth in said notice of public hearing. 5. The Engineers for the Village are hereby designated as engineers for the construction of said proposed public improvements, and are hereby authorized, ordered and instructed to prepare final plans and specificat- ions for said improvements and submit the same to the Village Council for approval at the earliest possible date. Mayor Attest, �1 i age C1 er The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Schaphorst and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following members voted in favor thereof: Flannagan, Nadasdy, Schaphorst, Scherer, and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor, and his signature attested by the Village Clerk.
