Member Teresi introduced the following resolution and 14OVED its
adoption:
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND AUTHORIZING CONTRACT CHANGES PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA
STATUTES 429.041, Subd. 7 (63-WML-42 & 44 & 106)
WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has prepared plans and specifications
for trunk and lateral water main construction, and has presented such plans
and specifications to the Council for their approval, Now, Therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley,
1. That such plans and specifications are hereby approved.
2. WHEREAS, a certain contract entered into April 16, 1963, with
McDonald-Luben and Associates, Inc. for Public Improvements 63-V1Mr and
63-T�JML-1, 2 and 5, etc., and awarded on a unit basis with a total contract
price of $555,718.00; and
WHEREAS, on July 2, 1963, the Village council of the Village of Golden
Valley, Minnesota, did approve contract changes to add onto the above-
described contract improvements No. 63-WML-56, 69, 71, etc., and
WHEREAS, the above improvements (63-WML-.2
71, etc.), on the same price basis, do not exceed 2 & 106; and 63-W�1-56, 69,
contract price, 5 percent of the original
The Mayor and the Village Clerk are hereby authorized to change the
contract awarded for 63-WMf and 63-WEI,-1, 2, 5, etc., of April 16, 1963,
so as to include the additional units of work at the same unit price pro-
viding for the construction of Public Improvements 63-W4L-421 X14 and 106,
when the contractor shall have furnished a contractorts bond in the amount
of the additional work, conditioned as required by law.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Member Flannagan and, upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Flannagan, Nadasdy, Schaphorst, Scherer,
and Teresi; and the following voted against the same:
