#284 07-16-63 Approve Work Done by Day Labor12 1. Resolution No. 284 July 16, 1963 Member Flannagan introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING WORK DONE BY DAY LABOR (63 -BS -1 and 25; and 63 -CG -1) 'i,JT REAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council this day, the Village Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for 63 -BS -1 and 25; and 63 -CG -1, and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval; and VNER:EAS, said improvements consist of bituminous surfacing and of grading and gravelling certain streets, Now, Therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, as follows: 1. Such plans and specifications are hereby approved. 2. The Village Engineer shall proceed under the direction of the Village Council, as given from time to time, to carry on all work in connection with said improvement, in accordance with the plans and specif- ications herein approved. 3. It is hereby found and determined that the Village of Golden Valley has sufficient equipment to carry on the work necessary for said improve- ments. It is hereby directed that said equipment be used for said work and that the appropriate funds shall be charged for the use of said equipment, the reasonable rental value thereof as the cost of said work, and the Village Engineer shall keep an accurate record and account of the use and rental of said equipment and of materials used and of work done and shall include it on any and all reports on the cost of work done by day labor under the provisions of the resolution. Mayor Village Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Teresi and, upon vote being taken thereon, the follow- ing members voted in favor thereof: Flannagan, Nadasdy, Schaphorst, Scherer, and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Village Clerk.
