#321 10-01-63 Approve Contract 64-WML-12, 15201 Resolution No. 321 October 1, 1963 Member Schaphorst introduced and read the following written resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING CONTRACT CHANGES PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA STATUTES 429.041 SUBD. 7. (64-WML-12 and 15) WHEREAS, the Engineers for the Village have prepared plans and specifications for a certain Lateral Water Main Improvement (64-WML-12 and 15) and have presented such plans and specificat- ions for the approval of the Council, Now Therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley: Attest: Village Clerk 1. That such plans and specifications are hereby approved. changed 2. Whereas, a certain contract entered into April 16, 1963, Per Resolution with McDonald Luben & Associates, Inc. for public improvement 63 WMT; 249 63-WML-1,2,5,6,7,8 etc. and awarded on a unit price basis with a total -, 64-14M-15 contract price of $550,718.00; and, to 63-Wt4-114 3. Whereas, the above improvement on the same unit price basis, #351 page including the cost of other improvements previously added thereto, does not exceed 25 per cent of the original contract price, the Mayor and the Village Clerk are hereby authorized to change the aforementioned contract awarded for $9,789.00 as of October 1, 1963, so as to include the additional units of work at the same unit price providing for the construction of public improvements No. 64-WML-12 and 15, when the con- tractor shall have furnished a contractor's bond in the amount of the additional work conditioned as required by law.
