14ember Garis introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption:
RESOLUTION? ORDERING CONSTRUCTION
OF CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IITIPROVEIENTS
(Street Lighting - Delphian Heights Area)
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley,
I;innesota., as follows:
1. That at a public hearing held on this day at 7:30 o'clock p.m.
at the address of 7800 Golden Valley Road in the Village of Golden Valley,
hZinnesota, after notice of said hearing duly published as required by law
this Council has consulted the view of all persons interested and being
fully advised of the pertinent facts, does hereby determine to proceed
with the construction of certain proposed public improvements for said
Village, in accordance tirith the description of said improvements con-
tained in said notice, except that portion of the area therein described
lying south of Golden Valley Road.
2. It is hereby found and determined that said public improvements
are feasible and can best be constructed as set forth in report of the
Village Engineer heretofore made to the Council and not in connection
with some other improvement (the Council reserves the right to consolidate
said improvements with other public improvements if it seems advisable to
do so.)
r 3. The cost of said improvements shall be paid out of special assess-
ments to be levied as set forth in said notice of public hearing.
4. Northern States Power Company is hereby designated to construct
said proposed public improvements and is hereby authorized, ordered and
instructed to prepare final plans and specifications for said improvements
and to submit the same to the Village Council for approval at the earliest
possible date.

The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by I,'ember Schaphorst, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Flannagan, Garis, Nadasdy, Schaphorst, and Teresi;
and the folloi-ring voted against same: None, whereupon said resolution was
duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by
the Village Clerh.
