and MOVED its adoption:
RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING
ON CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
(Proposed Bituminous Surfacing - 64 -BS -15 64 -BS -2,
64 -BS -4, 64 -BS -6, 64 -BS -81 64 -BS -9, 64 -BS -11, 64 -BS -12,
64 -BS -15, 64 -BS -17) 64 -BS -18, 64 -BS -19, 64 -BS -20,
64 -BS -21, 64 -BS -23, 64 -BS -24)
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley,
rtiinnesota, as follows:
1. In conformity with the provisions of Chapter 398, Session Laws of
Minnesota, 1953, this Council proposes to construct certain proposed public
improvements within the Village as stated in the form of notice included
in Paragraph 4 hereof.
2. The Engineer for the Village has reported to the Council advising
it in a preliminary way that the proposed public improvements are feasible
and that they should best be made as proposed and not in connection with
some other improvements, and has given his estimated cost of the improve-
ments as follows:
Total Cost of Improvements: $?7,926.94.
3. The Council shall meet at the time and place specified in the form
of notice included in Paragraph 4 hereof for the purpose of holding a public
hearing on the proposed public improvements as described therein.
4. The Clerk is authorized and directed to cause notice of the time,
place and purpose of said meeting to be published for two successive weeks
in the St. Louis Park Dispatch, Suburban Press, the official newspaper of
the Village, the first of said publications to be in the issue of said paper
dated April 9, 1964, and the last of said publications to be in the paper
dated April 16, 1964. Such notice shall be in substantially the following
form:

NOTICE IS IZuPwBY GIVEN that the Village Council of the Village of
Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota, will meet April 21, 1964 at
7:30 o'clock p.m. at the Civic Center, 7800 Golden Valley Road in said
Village for the purpose of holding a public hearing on certain proposed
public improvements.

The Village Engineer estimates that the entire cost of the improve-
ments will be $77,926.94.
The area where said improvements will be constructed and which they
will serve are as follows:

In conducting said public hearing for making its decision on the
proposed improvements, the Village Council proposes to proceed under the
authority granted by Chapter 398, 11innesota Laws of 1953, as amended.

description, including all property within the described areas and/or abut-
ting on streets or lines described above and including all railroad prop-
erty and railroad rights-of-way and public property located in or abutting
on the above described streets, lines and areas.
All owners of such property in the areas and abutting upon the streets
or lines described above, are hereby notified to be present at said public
Hearing and to make known their objections to such proposed public improve-
ments, if any there be.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by Member TeresiTand, upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in
favor thereof: "Flannagan, Garis, Nadasdy, Schaphorst, adn Teresi; and the
following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was de-
clared duly passed and adopted, signed by the NTalror and his signature attested
by the Clerk.
