#368 04-07-64 Approve Advertisement Bids 64-LF-4 thru 121 1 Resolution No. 368 April 7, 1964 Member Flannagan introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS (Proposed Sanitary sewer - 64 -LF -4, 64 -LF -5, 64 -LF -6, 64 -LF -7, 64 -LF -8, 64 -LF -9, 64 -LF -10, 64 -LF -11, 64 -LF -12) WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for sanitary sewer construction (Proposed Sanitary Sewer 64 -LF -4, 64 -LF -5, 64 -LF -6, 64 -LF -7, 64 -LF -8, 64 -LF -9, 64 -LF -10, 64 -LF -11, 64 -LF -12) and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for their approval; Now, Thereofore, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, 1. That such plans and specifications are hereby approved. 2. That the Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in in the St. Louis Park Dispatch -Suburban Press, and the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids for making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published once in each of said publications no less than three weeks before the last day for sub- mission of bids, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be opened and considered by the Village .Manager, Clerk and Engineer at 11:00 o'clock a.m. on May 1, 1964, in the Council Chambers and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Village Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, money order, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the Village Clerk for five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid. Said bids will be considered by the Village Council at its meeting of May 5, 1964, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. in the Council Chamber in the Civic Center. Attest: / rleZ P7J Village Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Teresi and, upon vote being taken thereon, the follow- ing voted in favor thereof: Flannagan, Garis, Nadasdy, Schaphorst, and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Village Clerk.
