#377 04-21-64 Order Public Improvements 64-CG-1 Thru 13Resolution No. 377 April 21, 1964 rember Teresi then introduced the following resolution and T,DVED its adoption: RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMIROVEMENTS (Proposed Curb and Gutter - 64 -CG -1, 64 -CG -2, 64 -CG -5) 64 -CG -7, 64 -CG -81 64 -CG -10, 64 -CG -12, 64 -CG -13) BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. That at a public hearing held on this day at 7:30 o'clock p.m. at the address of 7800 Golden Valley Road in the Village of Golden Valley, 11in'nesota, after notice of said hearing duly published as required by law, this Council has consulted the views of all persons interested and, being fully advised of the pertinent facts, does hereby determine to proceed with the construction of certain proposed public improvements for said Village, in accordance with the description of said notice, except as follows: 64 -CG -5: Westchester Circle from Georgia Avenue North to T.H. r'r55• 64 -CG -7: Ridgeway Road from Western Avenue to Harold Avenue. 64 -CG -12: Yosemite Avenue from N. Line Village Terrace Addition to Yosemite Circle; Yosemite Circle from Yosemite Avenue to (EXCEPT) Loring Lane; Loring Lane from Tur'ner's Crossroad to Yosemite Avenue. Continued Public Hearing to May 5, 1964. 64 -CG -8: St. Croix Circle from Spring Valley Road to Mary Hills Drive, except Lot 6, Block 1, Samuelson's Lakeview Addition and Lots 3 & 4, Block 2, Samuelson's Lakeview Addition for which petition & waiver of Public Hearing was submitted. Except Lot 5, Block 13 and Lots 1 and 5, Block 21 Samuelson's Lakeview Heights Addition. 2. It is hereby found and determined that said public improvements are feasible and can best be constructed as set forth in said report and not in connection with some other improvement (the council reserves the right to consolidate said improvements with other public improvements if it seems advisable to do so.) 3. The cost of said improvements shall be paid in part out of special assessments to be levied as set forth in said notice of public hearing. 1G. The Village Engineer is hereby designated as engineer for the construction of said proposed public improvements, and is hereby author- ized, ordered and instructed to prepare final plans and specifications for said improvements and submit the same to the Village Council for approval at the earliest possible date. 1 1 1 Resolution 'No. 377 Mayor Village Clerk April 21, 1964 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Flannagan and, upon vote being taken thereon,the V following members voted in favor thereof; Flannagan, Na.dasdy, Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolut- ion was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor, and his signature attested by the Clerk.
