#379 04-21-64 Provide Public Hearing Public Improvements 64-WMT-28Resolution No. 379 April 21, 1964 Member Teresi introduced and read the following written resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS (Trunk Water Main Improvements 64-1,W-28, 30• Lateral Water Main Improvements 64 ;ML -56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61. Lateral Sanitary Sewer Improvement 64 -LF -13) BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, I,2:nnesota, as follows: 1. in conformity with the provisions of Chapter 398, Session Laws of Minnesota, 1953, this Council proposes to construct certain proposed public improvements within the Village as stated in the form of notice included in Paragraph 4 hereof. 2. The Engineer for the Village has reported to the Council advising it in a preliminary way that the proposed public improvements are feasible and that they should best be made as proposed and not in connection with some other improvement, and has given his estimated cost of the improve- ments as follows: Total Cost of Improvements: $84,451.32 3. The Council shall meet at the time and place specified in the Form of notice included in Paragraph 4 hereof for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the proposed public improvements as described therein. 4. The Clerk is authorized and directed to cause notice of the time, place and purpose of said meeting to be published .for two successive weeks in the St. Louis Park Dispatch -Suburban Press, the official newspaper of the Village, the First of said paper dated May 7, 1964 and the last of said publications to be in the paper dated Ilay 14, 1964. Such notice shall be in substantially the following form: NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARDM ON CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IIIPROVEIvIENTS (Trunk Water Mlain Improvements 64-1,JITT-28, 30 Lateral Water Main Improvements 644,lIM-56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61 Lateral Sanitary Sewer Improvements 64 -Lr -13) NOTICE IS 1=,BY G uN that the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, 11i.nnesota, will meet on IP1ay 19, 1964 at 8:00 o'clock p.m. at the Civic Center, 7800 Golden Valley Road in said Village for the purpose of holding a public hearing on certain proposed public improvements, consisting of the construction and installation of Trunk and Lateral Water Main Improvements and Lateral Sanitary Sewer Improvement, and subsequent street repair and replacement. All property within the Village which is benefited by the improve- ments is proposed to be assessed for such improvements as set forth in the above description, including all property within the described areas and or abutting on streets or lines described above and including all railroad property and railroad rights-of-way and public property located in or abutting on the above described streets, lines and areas. All owners of such property in the areas and abutting upon the streets or lines described above, are hereby notified to be present at said public I earing and to make known their objections to such proposed improvements, if any there be.
