#390 06-02-64 Order Dust Treatment 64-DA 15 Thru 40Resolution No. 390 June 2, 1964 Member Schaphorst introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: "RESOLUTION ORDERING DUST TREATMENT FOR CERTAIN STREETS" (64 -DA -15, 16, 17, 22, 25, 26, 29, 30, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40) 64 -DA -15: On Ridgeway Road, from Western Avenue to Winnetka Avenue South 64 -DA -16: On Knoll Street, from Rhode Island Avenue to Sumter Avenue 64 -DA -17: On Hampshire Avenue, from Hampshire Lane to Hampshire Place Hampshire Place, from Hampshire Avenue to Douglas Drive 64 -DA -22: On Rhode Island Avenue North, from T.H. #55 to 6th Avenue North 64 -DA -25: Gettysburg Avenue North, from Olympia Street to Winsdale Street 64 -DA -26: On Phoenix Street, from Douglas Drive to Florida Avenue North 64 -DA -29: On Winsdale Street, from Douglas Drive to Florida Avenue North 64 -DA -30: On Olympia Street, from Hampshire Avenue North to Jersey Avenue No. 64 -DA -32: On Pennsylvania Avenue South, from Quebec Avenue South to Ridgeway Road 64 -DA -33: On Rhode Island Avenue North, from Winsdale Street to Olympia Street; On Winsdale Street, from Quebec Avenue North to Winnetka Avenue North 64 -DA -34.: On Winsdale Street, from Jersey Avenue North to Hampshire Avenue North 64 -DA -35: On Jersey Avenue North, from Glenwood Avenue to Western Avenue 64 -DA -36: On Knoll Street, from Rhode Island Avenue to Quebec Avenue North 64 -DA -37: On Quebec Avenue North, from Plymouth Avenue to Olympia Street 64 -DA -38: On Plymouth Avenue, from Kelly Drive to Louisiana Avenue North 64 -DA -39: On Sumter Avenue North, from Winsdale Street to Olympia Street Pursuant to the provision of M.S.A. 429.101 seq., and the provisions of the Village Code, Section 127.01 et seq., IT IS HEREBY ORDERED AND DIRECTED: 1. That the streets described above be improved by dust treatment, including maintenance work incidental and necessary to such treatment. Such work shall be done by direct purchase of the necessary materials, and the employment of day labor. 2. That the Village Engineer shall keep a record of the cost of such work done on each street, and shall report such information to the Village Clerk. 3. That on or before September 1, 1964, the Village Clerk shall prepare an assessment roll, assessing all cost of such work reported to him by the Village Engineer against each separate lot and parcel of land benefited by such work, and shall present said roll to the Village Council. All of such special assessments shall be payable in a single install- ment, with interest thereon at the rate of six per cent (6%) per annum. 4. That the Village Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to transmit forthwith a copy of this resolution to the Village Engineer. Resolution No. 390 June 2, 1964 Mayor Attest: Village Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Flannagan and, upon vote being taken thereon, the follow- ing members voted in favor thereof: Flannagan, Garis, Nadasdy, Schaphorst, and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Village Clerk. 1 1
